Josep Guiu, from Barcelona, graduated from the prestigious design school, Elisava.  Currently he is the creative director of Guiu Design studios.

Winner in 2009 of the Red Dot Product Design award, in 2006 the Corien Design award and in 2005 the Signes Design Award.

His professional career began in the department of I+D in Danone South European and Danone Partners. He has also worked for design studios like Benedito Design or Daifuku Design where he worked on products of famous brands such as Roca, Fermax, Indra, Indo, Carpyen or Comic to name a few.

Guiu Design is famous for offering practical designs, that are verstile and functional, whilst keeping in mind product beauty, that gives a personal touch to all of there designed pieces. Some clients include Estrella Damm, Bombay Sapphire, Mandarina Duck, Arriaga Stone, Moprimsa and La Mediterranea.
